The upper air burst into life! And a hundred fire-flags sheen, To and fro they were hurried about! And to and fro, and in and out, The wan stars danced between. And the coming wind did roar more loud, And the sails did sigh like sedge; And the rain poured down from one black cloud; The Moon was at its edge.

Samuel Taylor Coleridge - Leonids of 1797

What's new?
Why use a FM Receiver for your Radio Observatory?

There are several reasons for observing with a FM Receiver.  They are relatively easy to operate, don't require much cost to setup, and an easy concept for most amateur astronomer enthusiasts that don't have a lot of time to devote to bigger Radio Observatories.  Monitoring meteors is an easy subject to start with.  Hopefully for some, this is the start to something bigger.  Most importantly, it's interesting and fun!
